Impact of GA3 on corm nutrient and yield of gladiolus (Gladiolus hortensis) (cv. Punjab Dawn)

Nutrient status in gladiolus corms were assessed following GA3 treatment and number of bud corm (cut as well whole corm). The experiment was laid out randomized block design involve factorial combination with three replications. Result revealed that 5 200 ppm showed maximum (10.99% 9.24%) nitrogen uptake whereas phosphorus accumulation (17.26% 21.88%) recorded 6 gave (11.93% 15.87%) potassium content. Minimum (3.36% 5.37%) exhibited 1 control 2 100 application, context phosphorus, minimum (4.25%) (7.11%) observed (distilled water) cormsand also least (2.75%) (3.90%) GA3. Similarly cormel parameters influenced by which treated the both year experiment. Hence, higher concentrations (200 ppm) enhanced N, P, K harvested yield due to potential ofenhancing source-sink relationship.
